Students of Kindergarten develop their Fine motor skills, Gross motor skills, auditory visual, hand-eye co-ordination, one-to-one correspondence and logical thinking. Interesting written & Co-Scholastic activities will be given to enhance their observation skills, quantitative analysis and sequencing. We firmly believe that the children need to happy if they are to learn. Our Curriculum provides opportunity for playing, exploring active learning and thinking creatively. In KG1 students will start their foundation through patterns, alphabets, words, numbers, mathematical concepts, general awareness, stories, rhymes, engages in role play and picture talk etc.
In KG2 students will be taught to write Marion Richardson Script, the script is well known in the area of writing development, they will learn to write two& three letter words followed with sentences. Children will learn to develop their Social, Emotional & Communication skills,Teachers will use digital interactive board as a powerful teaching tool to teach the young ones.
Circle time – This is the time teachers and students interactive with each other. Kids develop positive relationships and will learn moral values too. Assembly – Assemblies will be conducted followed with School prayer and songs. Brain gym – We boost our students cognitive skills with few exercises. Free-play and Corner Play will be also the part of learning in Kindergarten. We will be teaching Qatar History through pictures, virtual tour etc. We provide theme-based worksheets and encourage family-based learning activities that you and your child can engage in together. This will help parents to share the joy of learning with their little ones. Students will also participate in extra curricular activities along with their Academic Curriculum.
In the Kindergarten, assessments will be based on the day-to-day performance of the child. A record of individual students achievement and progress is maintained on oral and written activities and students are regularly appraised of the same.The teacher records their observations in Journals, Anecdotes and monitors continuously to see if they have achieved their set targets.
Children will be monitored and assessed weekly to develop a strong understanding of each child's strength, abilities and interests.
Each academic year will have 2 interactive sessions (Orally/ Written) & 2 Written Assessments
Interactive Sessions in the month of May & February
First Term Assessment will be conducted in the month of September and Final Assessment will be conducted in the month of March.
